MODERN RABBIT FARMING

RABBIT KEEPING PROJECT

Our focus and strategy is to promote sustainable agricultural practices, strengthen markets and protect the environment in rural community.

Rabbit farming is known as cuniculture. It is low costable farming and has alternative breeding methods.  Additionally, the interesting part is that they are a family-friendly animal.  Raising rabbits as a pet or grow them for meat both can be profitable. However, our purpose of raising through identified farmers; is majorly to improve the livelihood of farmers and thus eradicating poverty out of the  Communities.

Our values

  • EXPERT: Expertise and insightful evidence-based solutions are at the heart of everything Voice Outreach does.
  • GROUNDED: Our teams and partners work closely with local communities, engaging them in every level of decision-making.
  • IMPACTFUL: We deliver long-lasting change for farmers, their families and the environments they live in.
  • BOLD: We model innovative approaches and are not afraid to challenge strategies that are failing.

This project has registered up to  15 groups (225 farmers) and a bout 75 professional workers in the fields of Veterinary, Health, Engineer, Electrician and Teachers who work tirelessly to meet the vision, mission & Objective of the project “Eradicating poverty out of the Christians and the Communities“. This project is funded by the Lead Partner; Elshadai Rabbit keeping Uganda.
